I’m back from the wedding and completely refreshed! Everything went smoothly and the stress of planning the whole event is now gone. As such, I’ve jumped back into being productive, and spent the past couple nights’ worth of broadcasts producing the next page of Peter and Company.

August 6th: Pencils and Piano
I seem to be playing piano more and more at some point during these web broadcasts. Today I played it a bit to warm up, but didn’t hit the record button until I started up the pencils. However, halfway through my hands needed a quick break, so I hopped back onto the piano, which ended up being recorded. So you get a little bit of it mixed in with the pencils for tonight’s recording.
August 2nd: Piano and Peter & Company
Started off tonight’s show with 45 minutes of piano playing to warm up my hands for the inking. Once that was done, I cranked out the Peter & Company page’s finished inks in about an hour and a half. This marks the first new comic to be published online in almost six months, which is the longest hiatus in the comic’s five-year history. It’s absolutely ridiculous how long it took me to get back up to speed with my drawing abilities after my hospital trip, but I’m just glad that it’s finally over.
August 1st: Penciling Peter & Company
Last night’s show saw the production of the first new page of Peter & Company in over five months. Now that I’m finally back up to speed with my drawing/inking abilities, I’m ready to resume production of the weekly comic. Originally I had hoped to have the entire page completed — penciled and inked — during the course of one show, but the pencils took longer than I had anticipated. As such, I’ll be completing the ink with Monday’s show and posting the page to the site that evening.
